Fed Up – Sick to My Soul

Me I’m so fed up
I’m sick to my soul
All I see or hear of these days
From the streets or the news
Is too much life being destroyed and abused
You Know!
Our future is inherited
Through the deeds of our past
Scares physical and mental all left to last
Look at our world
See our mountains of shame
People so easily forgotten
Lost poverty and pain
Left wanting in our world
Of profit & shareholder gain
Now I say to our leaders
“You need to open your eyes”
See the truth, wake up, realize
“I’m better
“Because I’ve got more”
I don’t think so, not anymore
Time to outcast the few
With the shallowest of view
Show them there’s no room
Not anymore
Jealousy & Greed
Not anymore
No care for the need
This has no place
Not anymore
