I am the secret serpent coiled about to spring: in my coiling there is joy. If I lift up my head, I and Nuit are one. If I droop down my head & shoot forth venom, there is rapture of the earth & I and the earth are one.
Blue am I & Gold in the light of my bride; but red glean is in my eyes & my spangles are purple and green. Purple beyond purple: it is the light higher than eyesight’s focus.
There is a veil: that veil is black (veil of sorrow & death) this is none of me!
Lift up and rejoice – We Are One, We Are None.
Death is the crown of life, AH Death!! Thou shalt long for death; death is forbidden, O man, unto thee. The length of thy longing shall be the strength of its glory. He that lives long & desires death much is ever ~King among Kings.

What meanest this O profit?
The deeper fuller interpretation of the old ideas: it will disperse many difficulties; harmonize many discords & Yea More!!! It showed the substance of the Universe as a simplicity of Light & Life, possessed of limitless liberty to enjoy Love by combining its units (elements) in various manners to compose atoms, themselves capable of deeper self realization through fresh complexities and organizations, each with its own powers and pleasures, each pursuing its path through the world where all things are possible. It reveals the Omnipresence of HADIT, identical with himself, yet fulfilling himself by dividing this interplay with Nuit into episodes, each form of his energy isolated with each aspect of her receptivity, delight, developing delight continuous from complex to complex.
