Appreciation of Food

Posted on Feb 07 2005 under Diary of the ONE | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

I love being in countries like Thailand and South America, I’m sure there are others, they really shows you and gives you the appreciation on food. Many times when in the company of locals when eating you really have to put any preconceptions about what you are about to eat behind you. Much of the food that is placed in-front of you may look alien, let alone fit to eat, but out of respect for the people offering and out of self need to do away with any western conditioning as to how your food should look, taste… you eat.

Usually a surprise of the depth of taste or the quality of the delight amazes. We in the west are so drawn away from the act of killing or collecting for food, even the preparation most times is taken out of our hands so that what we buy is prepackaged and tarted up to look nothing like the original source. On many occasions in Thailand I have been offered food and my initial response is to say no thank, not hungry, even if I an starving. I understand the ability to look stupid or non respectful so 99 times out of 100 I will eat it even if the taste is not my usual palates liking. The fish here in Thailand springs to mind, cooked up with the head on and presented the same way to the table, usually with the mouths stuffed with all manor of spices, then left out on the stall or out in the sun to dry up, which makes the look even more distasteful. The flies crawl all over and  who know how long it been around. Then you eat it, it’s a humbling and personally furthering experience. All should go through it. When you get back to the west you notice how tasteless and unsatisfying all the food is, from fruit and veg through meat, fish etc

On or around the 29th Jan..

The setting was a gig, TV gig, I was working for Dougie operating monitors. Most of the dream happened before the gig started, I was setting up my desk, there was loads of crap & rubbish on and around the desk which I spent a lot of time clearing away, much of the objects to be kept and tidied were placed on the desk by me. Cosmic Experience – The Work of the Kabbaliest

Due to the power of such experiences it is why a gradual and disciplined approach is absolutely vital so as to be able to handle them. It is also the reason why drugs, which allow rapid access to the higher regions are discouraged. One may see the wondrous sights of Heaven & Hell, but few drug takers can hold such an experience and make any sense out of it. Many never want to intrude into the other worlds again, and like Jack of the Beanstalk encounter with the giant, who can blame them for cutting sown the plant that had given them access to cosmic experience too early.

“BE IN THE WORLD – BUT NOT OF IT”

Elements – The Work of the Kabbalist

The first step is to know the body, which is the malkhutian vehicle for psyche & spirit.

The body contains four basic levels…

1st & densest is that of solids (Earth) including any structure that supported, carried or operated according to the mechanical laws, the skeleton, certain organs and muscle’s. Sense the weight and material composition of the body, how it hangs on the carefully designed structure of bones which are held in position by connecting tissue, the balance and counter balance of the muscles. Observe how the body moves with great subtlety and precision through every movement in a flow of positions that are held in momentary equilibrium.

2nd that of fluids (Water) which encompasses blood, sweat, urine and anything that flow through the organism. The fluid saturated tissue and organs are perceived as they hold and guide the slowly percolating fluids from their intake at the mouth to their exit in excretion and sweat.

3rd in the gases present (Air) in the blood, organs and lungs and cavities of the body, seen through controlled breathing and observing the reaction of the body as various qualities are absorbed and penetrate the tissue. The atmospheric balance in and out the body is crucial to its well being.

4th that of (Fire) the heat and light of the body, which is generated by the body and radiated out from within, as emitted by the body. By diligent practice one can glimpse or see the field of light that hovers just above the skins or perceive the various lines of the aura as they shimmer around a person.

The purpose of this awareness is to acquaint the person with the manifestation of the four worlds in their most physical form.

FIRE – Representing CONSCIOUSNESS

EARTH – (Solidity) Representing PRACTICALITY

WATER – (Fluidity) Representing MOODS

AIR – (Gaseousness) INTELECT

Know your body learn the ability to root or ground your self. Feet firmly on the ground, aware & conscious of your physical being.

Eyes related to Light (Fire)

Nose & Ears to Air

Tongue to Water

Rest of body to touch (Earth)

The Tester – Work of the Kabbalist

For Satan in Hebrew means “THE TESTER”

More than one great teacher has said that if only there were a few more thousand spiritually advanced people in the world, then the course of the flow of history would be changed. War and crime would diminish and then vanish, and many economic and social injustices would be corrected if the human race could begin to perceive (unconsciously at first) its family-hood.

History and events of the present century indicate that the vast majority of human souls on earth are somewhere between childhood and youth. After two global wars the possibility of a third remains quite real as the so called advanced nations squabble amongst themselves for the marbles of power on earth. Fortunately, there has always been a proportion of mankind that is more mature, at every point in history. It may be seem in messianic figures, great profits & teachers, or in traditions of high spiritual development, these have the ability to draw down their substance and power from the worlds above and focus it upon the activities on earth.

Work!

You see what work does to me! No time to know whats going on. keep a train of thought or follow a set of basic exercises in either physical or mental disciplines.

Bush is looking to an overturn of the Equinox of the Gods once again the same type of person from long family lives is out to overthrow the “New Way” of evolutionary procession & keep the world in the old, ignorant, self centered ways. Some in power manipulating the events and course & flow of those events. The man must be ignored by world leaders. As the darkness of the aging Aeon receeds and the vision of the future Aeon permeates all being, we must not be led or fooled.

“Wheel of Existence”

Posted on Jan 11 2005 under Diary of the ONE | Tags: , , , , , , , ,

The “wheel of existence” or the “wheel of evolution” refers to the wheel of karma or destiny. Karma is a Sanskrit word that means “Action” it is a destiny consciously chosen in life by each person, created by the total life experiences of the all previous incarnations. Karma is the spiritual law of cause and effect – a law of consequence that plays itself out in psychic, moral & physical ways in the life of human beings. One of the fundamentals of karma is that you get back what you give out. Thus evil that you do in one lifetime will come back to haunt you in the next; likewise, the good that you do in one lifetime will come back to reward you in the next. In this manner, the individual human soul slowly evolves over the course of many lifetimes gradually learning through its mistakes and growing a little wiser, a little closer to the divine each time. In Buddhism, the “wheel of life”or “round of births” is known as Sasara. the mystic seeks to get off the wheel of incarnations soon as possible, speeding up the process of spiritual growth through various techniques of meditation and magick. Once freed from the wheel, the soul of the mystic can merge with the ultimate unity that is God. – IR – The Middle Pillar

The Hebrew tern for this concept is TIKKUN or redemption.

“Be free from the pairs of opposites”

Pillar of Severity Pillar of Balance Pillar of Mercy

Chiah & Neshamah – Qabalah

Anima & Animus – Jung

Ying & Yang – Chinese

“Within every man & woman is a force that directs & controls the entire course of life” – Israel Regardie

“Properly used under will every affliction & ailment we may ever have would be avoided or cured , healed.” – IR

“In the ambient atmosphere surrounding us & pervading the structure of each one of our bodies cells is a force, a field of energy; this force is omnipresent and infinite; it is present in the most infinitesimal object as it is in the most proportion – staggering far reaches of the known universe. This force is life itself!”

“No thing in the vast expanse of space is dead. Everything pulsates with vibrant life; even the sub atomic particles of the atom are alive”. – IR

Each of the 22 paths is a harmonic, a resonant frequency with all that is, the nature of the resonant effect with all that there is creates & or destroys; adds or subtracts.
